QUA Granite started its production activities in 2016 with a production capacity of 5.5 million m², accelerating its investments to produce technical granite and glazed granite. In order for the first line to reach optimum occupancy, benefit from economies of scale and concentrate on exports, the second production line was put into operation in June 2017 with a capacity of 5.5 million m². With this investment, the total production capacity of the company has reached 11 million m². Within this year the company is planning to run 3 new production lines.

QUA Granite competes with domestic and foreign manufacturers and increases its sales every year with its economies of scale, specialization and production lines equipped with the latest technology. Technical granite is a special product while its firing technology is more difficult and expensive than of other types of ceramics (standard and glazed).

QUA Granite exports approximately 50% of its products to more than 60 countries, primarily EU countries and the USA. The fact that the product is in the luxury segment makes European countries with high purchasing power the main customers.

While ceramic tiles crack under the influence of the water at high and low temperatures, technical granite is used in interior and exterior coatings because its water absorption rate is very low.
