April in Milan is the time when the rules of the game in the world of interior design for the coming years are formed at the Salone del Mobile exhibition (and the specialized International Bathroom Exhibition pavilion). The Antey Group team of experts personally visited the stands of the world's leading factories to analyze new collections and bring the most relevant solutions to Ukraine.
We have compiled an exclusive photo report for you and highlighted the key trends that will dominate premium and mid-segment projects.
The main discovery of Milan is visual warmth. White glossy ceramics are rapidly losing ground, giving way to the colors of baked clay, warm beige, and muted greens. The bathroom is finally transforming into a full-fledged spa lounge.
Designers are tired of flat surfaces. A pronounced tactility has entered the arena: milled facades and matte ceramics create a complex play of shadows. The familiar shiny chrome is being replaced by premium finishes: brushed gold, warm bronze, and deep matte black. These details (from towel holders to faucets) are becoming independent architectural accents.
Our team was most interested in the exhibitions of brands that shape the global premium segment. Each factory presented a unique philosophy reflecting the future of the industry.
The stand of the Swiss giant LAUFEN became a manifesto of a new visual identity. Clean architectural lines merged with rich terracotta and plum tones. The main technological sensation was VITREON steel — an innovative material for the production of premium sanitary ware.
Among the star novelties: the updated Kartell by LAUFEN collection by Ferruccio Laviani, the minimalist VOLTA by Yves Behar, and the timeless PAR collection by Konstantin Grcic.
The Spanish brand Roca rethought the space through the architectural pavilion «Mediterranean Rituals», designed by the Mesura studio. The bathroom here is seen as a place for emotional restoration.
The brand focused on modular furniture systems, biophilic design (integration of live plants), and luxurious combinations of matte black ceramics with faucets in a warm bronze finish.
The Italian factory Mariner Rubinetterie impressed with a new manifesto of sustainability. The Dual collection by architect Fabio Novembre became an undeniable hit. The brand also presented the innovative Lymfa drinking wellness system and an exclusive collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini.
The AXOR brand traditionally gathered the elite of the international architectural scene. Main premieres: the AXOR Archivio collection and the AXOR Incava shower architecture. A huge emphasis is placed on the AXOR Signature service, which gives architects unprecedented opportunities for customizing finishes.

The global trend is a shift away from sterile white gloss. Deep earthy shades are popular: terracotta, plum, warm beige, as well as classic matte black.
Standard chrome has been replaced by textured premium coatings. The absolute leaders at the Milan exhibition were brushed gold, warm bronze, and graphite.
